On August 8,1998, in D2 building Room 14 at Ware State Prison at 2:30 in the morning, I woke-up and decided to end my life. I got up out of my bunk and went to my locker removed two razors and a pair of fingernail clippers, as I was about to close my locker door a light shined and what I saw was a Bible my mother gave me. I got on my bunk again and started opening the safety razors, as I did the light shined again and I was drawn to the Bible. I started reading it was open to the 9th chapter of Acts. I grew up in church and accepted Jesus Christ as my savior at 13 at 19 and 21 my grandparents passed my mom got sick and I rebelled against my savior I let the world consume my thoughts and my actions drinking and drugs about took my life the Lord was with me and never stopped loving me I have over come these set backs and my faith and love for the blessed trinity is stronger.
